Adventures in Diving Drysuit Option

Stay warm and learn drysuit diving in your Advanced Open Water Class.*

The drysuit option includes a Friday evening class and pool session covering the techniques of diving with a drysuit.  Topics covered include proper donning and doffing of a drysuit, zipper care and maintenance, care of seals, and proper weighting and buoyancy control while drysuit diving.

* Subject to suit availability.

Fee: $99 - ($49 course fee and $50 drysuit rental).  The course fee  includes: Friday evening session and rental of drysuit and undergarment for both Saturday and Sunday.  Other Scuba equipment is not included, but may be rented* at HALF PRICE.  *Gloves appropriate for local water temperatures and strap fins are required for the course, but are not available for rental.
What do I need to do before class?:
Read the Drysuit section of the PADI Adventures in Diving manual and complete the knowledge review (In addition to the standard Adventures in Diving requirements).
 

Use of the drysuit in the AOW class may be applied toward PADI Drysuit Specialty Certification. To complete the Drysuit Specialty Certification, you will only need to read the Drysuit Specialty manual and complete one additional dive with a Drysuit class. Cost to complete the Specialty certification is $50.00 plus drysuit rental.
