Cuba Dive Research Group Trip | Feel the exhilaration and excitement as you step off the plane in CUBA! Look for our group name as you exit the Jose Marti airport where your private airport transfer will be waiting to take you directly to Maria la Gorda. Marvel at the landscape through the secluded road along lush tobacco fields, Jurassic rock and remote jungle (about 4.5 hours). You’re on the way through Pinar del Rio on your way to pristine ecology in Maria la Gorda where international photographers and marine biologists unite.

A deep blue abyss descends below a vertical wall of coral, with protruding sponges, timid lobsters and schools of juvenile parrot fish are streaming by. You’re not in Cozumel. You’re not in the Caymans. You’re not in the Red Sea. You’re in Maria la Gorda, Cuba! You're making history as your research observations and discoveries contribute to the next published guide book.

Relax in your air-conditioned private bungalow, nestled in a jungle on the remote tranquil beach of Guanahacbibes Protected Marine Area. Rest in your hammock strung between palm trees on this remote beach. Hear faint calls of wild birds and soft waves lapping the sand. Absorb brilliant sunsets. Observe exotic butterflies from your private deck of your bungalow overlooking the jungle. Breakfast, lunch, & dinner included daily.
