PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty
The Underwater Videographer Specialty course combines classroom and pool work with three open water dives to introduce you to under water Videography or improve your existing Videography skills.  You'll learn the basics of underwater Videography including:
  • Video housing handling techniques
  • Buoyancy control for videography
  • Lighting for Underwater Videography
  • Pre and post dive camera and housing care
  • Underwater Videography dive planning

PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty Course | Show your scuba vacation adventures to your friends and family. Use your editing skills to share your clips with the world through YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and more. Use your underwater videos to turn more of your friends into dive buddies. The PADI Underwater Videographer Specialty course shows you how to create videos that are interesting, entertaining and worth watching again and again.
Manufacturers of video housings and accessories include: Ikelite, Light and Motion, and SeaLife. If you don't have a video housing yet, we can help you select one. Students should bring their own video camera and housing (with owners manuals) to class. To prepare for class you should read your camera and housing owners manuals.
Prerequisite: PADI Jr. Open Water Diver (or qualifying cert. from another organization) and 10 yrs old.
Course Fee: $150.00 includes certification processing and air fills.

What do I need to do before class?:
Complete a PADI Student Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, we must require a signed physicians approval before you participate. You can download and review the PADI Medical Statement here. Please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature if required.
Underwater Videographer Schedule: Class sessions 7 - 10pm; Dives and briefing / planning, Sat. and Sun. at Square Lake near Stillwater, Minnesota.
