| The PADI Underwater
Photographer Specialty course can introduce you to under water photography or improve your
existing photography skills. The Underwater Photographer Specialty course combines
classroom work with two open water dives. You'll learn the basics of underwater
photography including: |
- Composition
- Camera selection
- Camera handling techniques
- Buoyancy control for photography
- Film selection
- Pre and post dive camera care
- Underwater photography dive planning

to keep.

| What do I need to do
before class?: |
| Read the PADI Underwater
Photographer Specialty manual and complete the knowledge reviews. You also need to
complete a PADI Student Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). Certain existing
medical conditions will require a signed physicians approval before your
dives. You can download and review the PADI
Medical Statement here. If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions,
please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature. |
