| The Underwater Videographer
Specialty course combines classroom and pool work with three open water dives to introduce
you to under water Videography or improve your existing Videography skills. You'll
learn the basics of underwater Videography including: |
- Video housing handling techniques
- Buoyancy control for videography
- Lighting for Underwater Videography
- Pre and post dive camera and housing care
- Underwater Videography dive planning

| Manufacturers of video
housings include: Ikelite,
Light and Motion, and
Sea&Sea. If you don't have a
video housing yet, we can help you select one. Students should bring their own video
camera and housing (with owners manuals) to class. To prepare for class you should
read your camera and housing owners manuals. |
| Prerequisite:
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying
certification from another organization). |
| Course Fee:
$150.00 includes certification processing and air fills. |
Scuba
equipment is not included, but may be rented at HALF
PRICE. |

| What do I need to do
before class?: |

| Complete a PADI Student Record
File (which includes a Medical Statement). Certain existing medical conditions will
require a signed physicians approval before your class. You can download and
review the PADI Medical Statement here.
If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, please print a copy to take to
your physician for their approval and signature. |
