SDI Computer Nitrox Diver
The SDI (Scuba Diving International) Computer Nitrox Diver course makes your nitrox programmable dive computer an essential part of the learning process. This course brings you the benefits of diving nitrox mixtures (up to 40% O2) without focusing on complex formulas. The availability of nitrox has grown astronomically in recent years and it is now found in most resort areas and on many live aboard dive boats.

Prepare for your next diving trip any time of the year with this course, no dives are required.
Students should bring their own Nitrox programmable dive computer (with owners manual) to class. Companies producing or distributing these units include: Aqualung/Seaquest (distributors of Suunto computers), Dive Rite, Oceanic, Delta P, and OxyCheq (distributor of the Explorer from HydroSpace Engineering). If you don't have a Nitrox programmable computer yet, we can help you select one. To prepare for class you should read your computer owners manual and the SDI Easy Nitrox Diving textbook (textbook included with class).

SDI Computer Nitrox Diver course -- SDI was created in 1999 and grew out of the success of our sister company TDI, which specializes in the more advanced disciplines of dive training. Diving is constantly changing. SDI staff is always looking forward and striving to be the innovators in scuba diving education. SDI focus is to make the experience of diving one that is enjoyed by every family member.
Prerequisite: Open Water certification
Course Fee: $99.00 - includes SDI Easy Nitrox Diving textbook and certification fees.
Certification: SDI Computer Nitrox Diver - can be completed year round - no dives are required
What do I need to do before class?:
Read the Easy Nitrox Diving manual and complete the knowledge reviews. You also need to complete a SDI Diver Training Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). Certain existing medical conditions will require a signed physicians approval before your class. If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, please take a copy of the SDI Medical Statement to your physician for their approval and signature.
