PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty

If you want maximum warmth on a cold water dive, dry suits are the answer.  The PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty shows you the basics in a fun, hands-on format.  A dry suit can allow you to explore areas of Minnesota and other parts of the world you may not have considered because of the water temperature. This class is primarily intended for divers who have their own drysuit and would like to learn more about how to properly use and care for it.
The PADI Dry Suit Diver course includes one confined water session and two open water certification dives.  The course will cover a variety of areas including:
  • Procedures and techniques for drysuit diving

  • Proper Ascent and Descent

  • Buoyancy control for drysuit diving

  • Potential hazards and emergency procedures

  • Pre and post dive drysuit care

  • Routine minor drysuit maintenance
