Public Safety Diving and Surface Water
Rescue activities are by their nature very different from recreational diving. The
importance of appropriate training, equipment, and experience for Public Safety Diving and
Surface Water Rescue can not be stressed strongly enough. While these are excellent reference
materials, in no way should this
information be considered a replacement for proper training for the specific type of
activity in which you plan to participate.
This section is provided as a
community service in support of the professionals in the Public Safety Diving and related
fields who serve in Minnesota and across the country every day. It is hoped that
these Public Safety reference materials may in some way help to make their job a little easier... and
much safer.
