The classic stainless steel backplate has been a long-time favorite of wreck divers and cave divers alike. Give your harness a solid foundation and build from there. Classic deep-draw profile provides maximum contact area with your tanks and optimizes stability. Gets the tanks in tighter than any other configuration. Standard 11" centers with elongated lower hole to account for up to 7mm of misalignment (of the band bolts on your friend’s tanks). Utility holes each side and two 1" slots in the base for possible lift bag locating.
