OMS Backplate / Harness Systems -- The Hogarthian Diver may wish to combine the OMS one piece harness system with back plate (BP-166), single cylinder adapter and combine it with the OMS 45 lb lift BC for single cylinder diving. Double cylinders can also be used with this OMS BC / Harness combo. Complete OMS Back Plate / Harness Systems include: A one piece 2" harness with a 2" crotch strap, a harness with one (1) shoulder side release, the Comfort Harness System ™ (that is quickly adjustable, comes standard with special shoulder pads and allows the back plate purist to customize his or her harness systems), and the new Comfort Harness System II (BP134) with adjustable Oblique webbing and 4 chest mounted D-Rings.

OMS’s superior deburring process eliminates sharp back plate edges and prevents abrasion to harness webbing and BC’s and most importantly cuts. Stainless Steel backplate is passivated to prevent oxidation and the Aluminum plate is Hard Coat Anodized. All harness systems can be utilized with single or double cylinder systems.

All OMS Harnesses can be configured with an optional crotch strap.

All harness systems can be utilized with single or double cylinder systems.  The OMS back plate is available in Aluminum (2 lb.) or Stainless Steel (6 lb.), incorporates additional slots to mount cam bands for Single cylinder configuration , slots to mount either a 1" or 2" crotch strap and a lower center slot to facilitate mounting on band bolts that are slightly misaligned.
