Sartek produced over 250 different products including: video security products, medical electronics, analytical laboratory test equipment, and test equipment assemblies for IC chip manufacturers. In the early 90's Sartek started to introduce its own products, mostly in the video security and high tech dive arenas.

Today, Sartek produces a wide range of rugged equipment (including the SBV-1 and the RSV-1 full face mask accessories). These items are popular with search and recovery teams as well as commercial and technical divers. Sartek SBV-1 Surface Breathing Vent -- The SBV-1 is designed for divers utilizing an Interspiro AGA full-face mask. It is perfect for public safety divers that dress en route to a call. A diver can arrive fully dressed, AGA mask on, ready to enter the water. Backup divers can maintain a ready position with the mask on, instead of placing the mask on only in the event of an emergency. This reduces the possibility of a backup diver rushing and placing the mask on improperly, wasting precious time during a life-or-death situation. The Sartek SBV-1 (Surface Breathing Vent) allows a diver to breathe air directly into the Oral/Nasal Cavity of a full-face mask without the risk of CO2 buildup. The SBV-1 design allows divers to stand fully operational on the surface without reducing their gas supply. The SBV-1 is available for most full-face masks. The low profile of the SBV-1 reduces the chance of an entanglement.

The Sartek RSV-1 Redundant Supply Valve is a modular control valve that allows a diver to switch breathing gas supplies in less than a second. The RSV-1 is particularly useful to a diver utilizing a full-face mask because it allows the diver to switch to their alternate air supply without discarding their mask (a valuable feature when diving in toxic or hazardous locations). -- Popular for many Public Safety Diving, SAR, Commercial Diving, and Military applications. -- Photo: Sartek

 The Sartek RSV-1 (Redundant Supply Valve) is a modular control valve that allows a diver to switch breathing gas supplies in less than a second. The RSV-1 is particularly useful to a diver utilizing a full-face mask because it allows the diver to switch to their alternate air supply without discarding their mask (a valuable feature when diving in contaminated locations).

The RSV-1 takes less than 5 minutes to install. Simply remove the supply hose to your regulator and install the RSV-1 in-line. The connection to your alternate supply can be achieved by either a "Quick Disconnect" or a threaded fitting.

The RSV-1 is made from Delrin® (a high tech engineering plastic from DuPont). The fittings are made from stainless and all "O"-rings are Viton®. The three connection ports are identical, which allows the RSV-1 to be configured to suit the dive mission. Adapters currently available for: Ocean Reef full-face masks, Interspiro AGA mask, EXO mask, and most standard regulators with a 9/16-18 thread and also Poseidon® Regulators (special order). Quick disconnect fittings include: AGA, Air Source, and Air 2 fittings. Harness mount and customized fittings are available.

The RSV-1 is intended for use by Rescue, Military, Technical & Commercial Divers.

In the event that you are not using an octopus, you will need to add an overpressure valve to your first stages.
As a prerequisite of purchase and in order for the warranty to become effective, you must fill out either the individual or team waiver, as appropriate.

When ordering a Sartek RSV-1, please indicate the two input fittings you require in the "Special Requests" section during checkout. Options include: Scubapro Air 2 QD, SeaQuest Airsource QD, Interspiro QD, Standard Regulator 2nd stage (9/16-18 Male), and Interspiro AGA Divator (M16 x 1.0mm Male).
