Ikelite was the result of a wreck dive in the early sixties where all of the diving lights had leaked or imploded. Real lights for divers were not available. "Ike's Light" was their beginning and became the dominant lighting products. They were first to include a switch lock on underwater lights. Ikelite always strives to offer something better in each product. The closure systems of Ikelite RCD, PC and PCa Lites are examples of this effort. These are not "me too" designs, but represent innovation and value for the diver.

Ikelite PC Halogen Series: The PC Series is an innovative design with a unique clamp system for ease in opening and closing.  Halogen bulbs specially designed for Ikelite utilize a standard PR style base allowing emergency replacement with bulbs available everywhere. The Pocket C-Lites are designed to be comfortably tucked away inside the pocket of your BCD so you can carry them with you on every dive.

Ikelite PCm Dive Light | Feel it in your hand, experience the on/off switch, and marvel at the intensity and uniform beam pattern of this exciting new four "AA" cell light. This is the newest of our easy-to-open / easy-to-close PC series. | A special halogen lamp produces incredible intensity and an excellent beam pattern. The newest Eveready Energizer batteries** provide almost 1.5 hour burn time. Ikelite PC Lite | The "O" ring sealed area of the removable front is another design innovation that eliminates any mold seams on the sealing surfaces. The switch shaft features a maintenance free "X" ring seal. The switch contact is incorporated into a single spring that serves as a heat sink while making electrical contact with the bulb.

Super-8 RCD Lite: - Revolutionary Clamp Design -
The Super-8 features a special new halogen lamp producing an incredibly bright 14 watt penetrating medium spot beam. The newest Eveready Energizer batteries provide 10 hour burn time. Cost of replacement "D" size batteries is the same as the less powerful "C" size batteries.

Ikelite Super-8 RCD Lite | Ikelite Dive Lights

The unique fail-safe quick-release RCD clamp is simple and provides easy opening and closing of the light. This system has been widely accepted as the most dependable choice for rental service. All other 8-cell lights utilize a screw-on cap that can stick or crack.

The large rotating switch and switch lock afford easy operation even when wearing a bulky glove. A rubber shroud protects the front lens while blocking distracting side reflections.

The Super-8 RCD is supplied with both handle styles shown. Size is 4" x 8.5" without handle. Operates safely to 90m (300 feet).

Mini C-Mark (Signal Type Blinking Strobe): The Ikelite Mini-C Mark is an ideal location marker or emergency beacon specifically designed for night and limited visibility use. Emits brilliant flashes of light visible for several miles at the surface. Intensity is brighter than most signal strobes. The Ikelite Mini C-Mark can be secured to anchor line, clipped to you or your equipment using the attached stainless steel belt clip.

SpD Lite: Tailored specifically for wreck and cave divers, this high performance, lightweight powerhouse of a system is indispensable when exploring those less-traveled underwater sites. The 50W auxiliary Lite Head will illuminate even the darkest corners of an abandoned control room or a winding tunnel.

Ikelite SpD Lite | The SpD Dive Light System provides several innovative design and safety features. The battery packs do not contain a switch to eliminate any chance of an explosive electrical spark during use. The switch is contained in the SpD-AA Lite Head, or in the connecting cord for the Video Lite Head. The SpD battery pack slides into Ikelite's durable pouch, which attaches easily to a weight belt, tank strap, or the bottom of an Ikelite video housing. Customize the SpD Lite to fit your individual needs.
