What equipment do I need for class?: | |||||||
In the PADI Basic Freediver course, you learn to use a mask, snorkel and fins, and may also use a wetsuit and weight belt. Using gear designed specifically for freediving is best, however, in this course, you may be able to use snorkeling equipment you already own. You can get advice about everything you need from your PADI Freediver Instructor at Scuba Center. | |||||||
What do I need to do before class?: | |||||||
Complete the PADI Basic Freediver eLearning and complete the knowledge reviews. You also need to complete a PADI Student Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, we must require a signed physicians approval before you participate. You can download and review the PADI Medical Statement here. Please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature if required. | |||||||
