PADI Night Diver Specialty

 
The PADI Night Diver Specialty course will keep you under water even after the sun goes down.  This exciting course will give you a look at nocturnal aquatic life as well as teaching you proper night diving procedures.  You will conduct three open water night dives and cover areas including:

PADI Night Diver Specialty | Night Diving – there’s really nothing like it. With the right training and a little bit of planning, night dives can be as easy as diving during the day. PADI’s Night Diver manual will help you prepare for your first night dives with a PADI Instructor. Topics covered include: tips for navigating at night, night diving etiquette, establishing an entry and exit point, and how to maintain your underwater light system.

  • Dive light selection and use

  • Night dive planning and procedures

  • How to handle disorientation

  • Emergency procedures

  • Night diving navigation

Prerequisite: PADI Jr. Open Water certification (or qualifying cert. from another organization) and 12 yrs old.
Course Fee: $129.00
Includes:    Training fees,  PADI Night Diver manual, certification processing, and air fills. Scuba equipment is not included, but may be rented (advanced reservations recommended). (Fee and cancellation policy)

Sure, your PADI certification opens up the oceans and lakes to you, but the PADI Specialty Dives take the underwater adventure to depths that will stir your soul. Achieving PADI Specialty ratings can take anywhere from as little as one day to a full weekend -but this is all hands-on, so you'll be diving right from the start.PADI Night Diver manual included and yours to keep.

What do I need to do before class?:
Read the PADI Night Diver manual and complete the knowledge reviews. You also need to complete a PADI Student Record File (which includes a Medical Statement). If you answer yes to any of the medical history questions, we must require a signed physicians approval before you participate. You can download and review the PADI Medical Statement here. Please print a copy to take to your physician for their approval and signature if required.
PADI Night Diver Specialty Schedule: Class Wed. 7-10pm at Eagan, Dives and briefing / planning, Fri. & Sat. at Square Lake near Stillwater, Minnesota.
